Our pocket door system is designed to maximise space in residential properties and can save up to 1.5 sqm per door!

We worked with architects Studio Williamson to achieve maximum space at the property, as well as meet the bespoke design aspirations of the client and suit the rest of the interior.

Tim Williamson, Principal at Studio Williamson, said: “I approached Selo with a highly specific brief for a sliding pocket door solution which would suit an internal cavity masonry wall situation, enable installation or removal of the door leaves at any time and achieve an appearance to match timber boarded external shutters when closed and as close to invisibility as possible when open. The invaluable technical assistance received from Selo’s highly knowledgeable Special Products Manager ensured the purpose-made extra wide door leaves (also supplied by Selo) with their discreet running gear disappear effortlessly into the natural stone-faced walls, aptly fulfilling the architectural intent. Situated within a central stair atrium which was designed to bring ‘the outside’ inside, the four doors serve to unite or separate the two linked ‘wings’ of accommodation as desired, facilitating a seamless flow of circulation when open but privacy and containment when closed”.
