The Laurels by Gail

Bespoke panelled-effect door leaf detail was used to match the interior design

Gail designed the private residence in Buckinghamshire to provide versatile, open spaces for all the family to enjoy. Pocket doors were used throughout; optimising the functionality of the property. Between the kitchen and living room, a telescopic pocket door was used as a room divider, this is closed to create privacy or opened for open-plan entertaining.

Upstairs, in the bedroom acoustic pocket doors were used to reduce sound transfer. Pocket doors were also used to optimise the floor-space within the ensuite bathrooms, compared to a conventional swing door.
