The visible door frame kit is for the Enigma pocket door system is for use with architraves. The door frames are manufactured from solid hardwood steamed beech with a density of 720kg/m3 and is a fully FSC certified.
The door frame come primed, ready for site painting as standard, and can be made in a number of different timber species and finishes at your request. No architraves included. Enigma requires a simple wall build-up:
› 94mm stud
› 1 layer 12.5mm plasterboard either side

The sliding pocket door’s strike jamb comes with rubber batwing seals to provide a seal when the door is closed, ensuring that drafts are kept out.

The leading edge jamb the leading support of the side pocket, which has a side flange for the plasterboard to be butt up against.

The intermediate jamb forms the rest of the pocket for the pocket doors. The aluminium profile has a timber insert which provides extra strength and facilitates easy fixing.

The head channel for the Enigma pocket doors is the same width as the stud, making it simple to accurately place and fix to the head stud.

The leading edge and intermediate jambs slot into the base channel and are fixed into place.

Manufactured by GEZE, the gear sets used in the Enigma pocket door system require almost no maintenance and are virtually silent, meaning doors slide open and closed without the annoyances sometimes caused by traditional hinges.
The standard sliding gear set is surface-mounted onto the top of the sliding door and is tested to EN 1527 1998 to 100,000 cycles.

The big benefit of the Enigma pocket door kit is that it is constructed from aluminium. This means that the system can be adjusted in height and width very simply using a standard carpenters chop saw. This means that the Enigma pocket door kit can be tailored to your specific size requirements very easily and create the perfect sliding interior pocket doors for your project.

The leading edge and intermediate jambs then slot into the head channel and are fixed into place once they are plumb.

The Enigma pocket door leaf can be ejected from the pocket quickly and easily, thanks to the Enigma touch latch. A gentle push at the door leaf is all that is required.

Virtually silent operation for use with double-door kits when you require both doors to open while only operating one leaf.

In situations where you can’t fit the head of the pocket door directly to the building ceilings or floor slab and deflection tolerance is required, the Enigma system can be supplied with a self supporting head beam. This enables the head to be fitted, supporting up to 120kg.

If your door closes against a wall perpendicular to the door itself, a perpendicular wall jamb profile is provided to do away with the need to have a protruding nib.

The Enigma is fitted with a remote stop as standard, which allows you to adjust the back stop of the pocket door kit once the plasterboard is complete and the door leaf has been installed.

The head of the pocket door kit with track packed down, sits flush with the ceiling.

The Enigma pocket door system can be provided with an automated self closer. The closer is provided with infinite adjustment providing an extremely user friendly experience.

The visible frame kit for Enigma fire rated pocket doors is for use with architraves. The frames are manufactured from solid hardwood steamed beech with a density of 720kg/m3 and is a fully FSC certified.
As standard, the timber door frame is provided to you pre-primed ready, meaning on-site painting in your chosen finish and colour can happen at once. Moreover, the frame can be constructed in differing species of timber and with different finishes, at your request. No architraves are included with the timber frame.

Timber profiles are provided machined to accept intumescent seals. These are then overclad with the metal trims which are plastered up to conceal the frame.

The aluminium profile of the Enigma’s intermediate jamb has a timber insert, providing extra strength and making fixing it a breeze. The intermediate jamb forms the rest of the pocket.

The Enigma FD30 pocket door head channel is the same width as the stud, making it simple to accurately align, place and fix the head channel to the head stud.

To ensure the fire integrity is not compromised it is important that the wall partition is suitable and also the interface between the partition and doorset is correct.

Enigma Motus is a powered pocket door that utilises a contactless electro magnetic propulsion system to silently open and close the sliding pocket door with no or minimal handling of the door itself. This system fits with any of the 3 frame types – visible frame, concealed frame and shadow gap. The door frames are manufactured from solid hardwood steamed beech with a density of 720kg/m3 and is a fully FSC certified.
With this kit the door frame comes primed, ready for site painting as standard, and can be made in a number of different timber species and finishes at your request. Enigma Motus requires a simple wall build-up, which varies depending on fire rating:
NFR:
