The door frame is concealed by the provided pre-formed metal trims, which are plastered, or taped/jointed up.
Straightforward to install, the Enigma pocket door needs only a simple wall build up.

Featuring rubber batwing seals, the strike jamb is fully sealed when the door is closed.
The door frame is concealed by plastering or tap and jointing up to the formed metal trims.

The main support of the doors’ side pocket is the leading edge jamb, which features a side flange. This butts up against the plasterboard.

The remainder of the pocket is formed by the intermediate jamb. The metal (aluminium) profile features an insert made of timber, giving the Enigma pocket additional strength. It also makes fixing very straightforward.

The head channel is easy to fix in place since it is the same width as the stud.

The leading edge and intermediate jambs slot into the base channel and are fixed into place.

Manufactured by GEZE, it requires almost no maintenance and is virtually silent.
The concealed sliding door set is rebated into the head of the door which enables the frame to be fully concealed.
Tested to EN 1527 1998 to 100,000 cycles.

Thanks to its aluminium construction, the Enigma concealed pocket doorset can be adjusted to the required dimensions easily – using a standard carpenter’s chop saw. This is one of Enigma’s chief benefits.

The intermediate jambs and the leading edge slot into the head channel and, once they are plumb, are securely fixed in place.

The Enigma doorset has been acoustically tested and can be provided with the following ratings:

The Enigma pocket door leaf can be ejected from the pocket quickly and easily, thanks to the Enigma touch latch. A gentle push at the door leaf is all that is required.

In situations where you can’t fit the head of the pocket door directly to the building ceilings or floor slab and deflection tolerance is required, the Enigma system can be supplied with a self supporting head beam. This enables the head to be fitted, supporting up to 120kg.

If your door closes against a wall perpendicular to the door itself, a perpendicular wall jamb profile is provided to do away with the need to have a protruding nib.

The Enigma is fitted with a remote stop as standard, which allows you to adjust the back stop of the pocket door kit once the plasterboard is complete and the door leaf has been installed.

The head of the pocket door kit with track packed down, sits flush with the ceiling.

The Enigma pocket door system can be provided with an automated self closer. The closer is provided with infinite adjustment providing an extremely user friendly experience.

A full range of RAL colours can be selected for the door leafs.

Extra durability can be added to the sliding pocket doors with a laminate coating.

If the design requires a veneer, choose from any timber style – it is then lacquered in a sheen of 30%.

This concealed frame or ‘frameless’ sliding pocket door kit has been developed for use without architraves.
The door frame is concealed with pre-formed metal trims which are plastered, or taped/jointed up.

The head channel and stud of the sliding pocket doors are the same width, making it quick and easy to fix into place.

Virtually no maintenance is needed with these GEZE-manufactured gear sets. It is also almost perfectly silent.

The height and width of the Enigma FD30 frameless sliding pocket door can be adjusted with ease using a general carpenter’s chop saw. Whatever size you need, this kit gives you the flexibility to you require.

The intermediate jams and leading edge are then slotted into the head channel. Once plumb, they are fixed securely.

The Enigma doorset has been fully fire tested to 30 minutes in single and double configurations.
Important note
To ensure the fire integrity is not compromised it is important that the wall partition is suitable and also the interface between the partition and doorset is correct.

Enigma Motus is a powered pocket door that utilises a contactless electro magnetic propulsion system to silently open and close the sliding pocket door with no or minimal handling of the door itself. This system fits with any of the 3 frame types – visible frame, concealed frame and shadow gap. The door frames are manufactured from solid hardwood steamed beech with a density of 720kg/m3 and is a fully FSC certified.
With this kit the door frame comes primed, ready for site painting as standard, and can be made in a number of different timber species and finishes at your request. Enigma Motus requires a simple wall build-up, which varies depending on fire rating:
NFR:
› 94mm stud
› 1 layer 12.5mm plasterboard either side
FD30:
› 94mm stud
› 2 layers of 12.5mm plasterboard either side

As the Motus can be supplied as either non fire-rated or fire rated, this detail varies slightly. To see fire rated strike jamb please take a look at the FD30 solution.

The Motus uses CS80-MAGNEO operater which requires almost minimal, or no, handling to activate and operates silently and smoothly.

The big benefit of the Enigma system is being aluminium the system can be adjusted in height and width very simply using a standard carpenters chop saw. This means that the kit can suit your specific size.

When using door heights of 2300mm+ then it is recommended the wall is double boarded. If using layers of 12.5mm plasterboard then add (145) to the product code to specify this.
